I’ll tell you why I love buildings nowadays
It’s funny, I hardly look up to appreciate the design of a building. Usually I just keep my nose to my phone when I’m on the road. But lately, I’ve been looking up and asking the question, “How did they do it?” A building is friggin hard to complete. It takes commitment (years in the making), focus, teamwork, strong leadership skills, great time management, creativity, and of course, intelligence. That’s just about everything I am trying to apply to my own life right now, and I’m no engineer. The projects I do may not involve actual structures, but they require building nonetheless. It’s a day to day management process, brainstorming process, and consistently putting in effort even though you don’t see results rise in the landscape. And whenever I find the urge to stop and give up, I just look up. And I keep going. It’s the willingness to continue. I’m finding the way again. Keep Building, V |
